Thanksgiving

Our little piggy had a ball on his first Thankgiving. We had to scramble to find a place to eat since our trip home didn't work out well. We ended up at the Old Country Buffet which Aly thought was heaven. There was a LOT of food, and it was a really nice surprise, it was actually good, with a fresh carving station and all (so we had our turkey dinner after all!). Jake ate mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, yogurt and a bowl of ice cream!

That is my way of swearing online. We tried to come home for Thanksgiving. We were going to surprise all of our family and friends, but the damn snow changed our plans...! It took us three hours to go 30 miles down the turnpike.... just to turn around and come home. Figures the first blizzard of the year would be the day we decided to be spontaneous..... oh well. Now we have to figure out what to do tomorrow for dinner since we have no food here or reservations anywhere. Aly doesn't care what we eat, so long as we put the extra leaf on the table. That is all she is really looking forward too..... gotta love that kid!

Taken last night at Light Up Night in Irwin. Its a pretty big deal here with a parade and tree lighting with lots to do. The kids had fun, although it was only 20 degrees with a windchill of 14! Brrr...........
