GOING HOME!!!!

YAY! We are going home today for 15 days! woo hoo! We haven't been home since August and we are all dying to see everyone! There's no place like home for the holidays! I know, I sound like a cliche song! But its sooo true!

We have been busy getting ready to come home. Aly has met Mrs. Claus and Rudolph this past week. She also performed in a school Christmas show and she did so good! And oh yeah, Jake started crawling! UGH! Let the grand ol' times begin!

Well, see you all soon and I'll be back to post after the New Years!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Award-Winning Aly

Aly has been doing so much better in school. Her behavior and listening have been top notch, therefore her school work has been excellent. She recently got an award for doing so well.... it was a pretty big deal for her. It was presented by the prinicpal and she had her picture taken with him and everything. She is very proud of it. And we are so very proud of her!

Here Comes Santa Claus...

Okay, so this Santa looked soooo real that even Alyson was tongue-tied! She was in awe... she couldn't even get the words out to tell him what she wanted. And as for Jake, well, he pooped and then started crying......! I was so convinced that he was the real Santa that I was tempted to sit on his lap myself, click my heels three times, and say "there's no place like home" and wake up back in NH! :)

Happy Holidays

We put up the Christmas tree this weekend. We figured
we would do it now since we will be in NH in 12 days, so at least this way Alyson could enjoy the tree for a few weeks!!

And little Saint Nick here and Aly wanted to pose for a picture. Aly is so excited that this is Jake's first Christmas tree! She just loves her little bro to death, and the feeling is entirely mutual!!!!

SIX MONTHS!

Mr. Jake went for his six month check up today. He is 29 inches long and 18 1/4 lbs. He is starting to lengthen and slim down! He did excellent with all his shots..... such a good boy! The doctor also told us his top two teeth are coming down, but there is still nothing on the bottom. So we could have teeth any time now. So, all Jake wants for Christmas is his two front teeth (LITERALLY!!!)

SNOW!

It's snowing today, and last night. We probably have about 3 inches right now and even though i am a true snow hater, its very pretty!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

This is a big week for us. Monday was Jake's 1/2 birthday ~~ six months old already!!!! And yesterday was Jim's 38th birthday. We are really hoping that this was the last one we will celebrate in PA, as we hope to be back in NH next year at this time. We made the best of it though and took him to the Olive Garden. Aly and Jake bought him some interesting gifts. We had gone shopping a few weeks ago and Jake picked out some socks for him. It was really funny, he pulled them right off the shelf and started eating them so I took that as a sign he wanted to give them to daddy. And Aly bought him a musical Christmas tie (which he is wearing today to work! :)
